| Opportunity for Admission in PGDM at BIMTECH |
- There is an opportunity for NTPC’s Employees’ wards for admission in PGDM course in BIMTECH (Birla Institute of Management Technology), Greater Noida, UP (see website http:bimtech.ac.in/ ).
- As per MOU signed between NTPC and BIMTECH, preferential admission is being offered to the wards of NTPC employees as per the following clause:
a. 6.1 Admission: The wards of employees (subject to maximum of 5 wards each year from organization) who participate in the process (the guidelines of eligibility, also CAT percentile as decided for the year of admission, and process are published in admission brochure each year) of application for admission and their applications are forwarded by a designated competent authority of NTPC before the closing date for submission of applications. They will be given 5 percent weightage in preparation of final merit list (3% flat be added in the original merit of candidate to raise their merit) as part of Management Recommendation Seats in all PGDM programmes at BIMTECH.
- The procedure for applying for admission is given below:

The Candidate may visit website of BIMTECH http://bimtech.ac.in/ and if he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria, he/she may apply for admission to BIMTECH. |

A copy of application may be sent along with duly filled up form as given in Annexure-A to Ms. Debaleena Das, Officer (HR), PMI, Noida ( debaleena.ntpc@gmail.com) before the last date for filing application as per BIMTECH website. |
| c. |
The candidate may appear for CAT/MAT/XAT or any other exam as specified in BIMTECH admission form. |
| d. |
A list of candidates who are wards of NTPC employees shall be forwarded to BIMTECH with application number and other details. |
| e. |
BIMTECH may call the candidates for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) as per their performance in the selection exam. The same shall be indicated by BIMTECH to NTPC. |
| f. |
After the completion of GD/PI process BIMTECH shall give 5 percent weightage in the final merit list (3% flat be added in the original merit of candidate to raise their merit) and select top five candidates and these candidates shall be offered admission. A wait list of candidates shall be prepared and waitlisted candidates shall be offered admission till five take final admission. |

BIMTECH shall keep NTPC informed on the selection process and inform the names of five candidates who take final admission. |
