The DMAIC methodology is being used extensively to bring perfection in existing operations in all areas of business.
DMAIC has become a powerful methodology with an aim to design, operate and control each of the critical administrative, manufacturing and business processes in the organisation to give not more than 3.4 defects out of every one-million opportunities – a near perfection. It involves repeated applications of process management, process re-design and statistical tools.
